HYRE - HyreCar launches program for listing renting higher-value cars

• Carsharing marketplace HyreCar ( NASDAQ: HYRE ) has launched a program where existing and new owners can list and rent higher-value cars, called HyreCar Select.
• Previously, vehicle owners on the HyreCar platform were limited to listing certain branded vehicles only, such as Toyota Prius, Nissan Altima and Hyundai Elantra.
• The company said that the used vehicle values increased by 88% during the pandemic.
• The program will initially launch in California and Georgia, followed by other states in the coming weeks.
• HYRE shares were trading ~4% down pre-market.
