Independent Bank (NASDAQ:INDB) receives all regulatory approvals to acquire Meridian Bank (NASDAQ:EBSB). The transaction is expected to close on Nov. 12 of this year, subject to closing conditions. Both banks wrap up the week in the green. In April, the two banks inked the deal.
