IPPLF - Inter Pipeline sees C$1B 2021 capex C$800M on Heartland project

Inter Pipeline ([[IPPLF]] -1.7%) unveils a C$1B capital spending program for 2021, including C$930M for organic growth initiatives.Within the natural gas liquids processing business segment, the company plans to spend $800M next year on the Heartland Petrochemical Complex, with final installation of equipment and processing systems at the propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene facilities scheduled for completion by year-end 2021.The update on the plant comes after Inter Pipeline said last month it wanted to find a partner for the plant by the middle of next year.Inter Pipeline was one of the hardest hit Canadian midstream energy companies during the downturn, but its shares are undervalued with growth opportunities, Michael Vaccarino writes in a bullish analysis posted earlier on Seeking Alpha.
