IVC - Invacare realigns EMEA Asia Pacific businesses

Invacare (IVC -3.1%) has announced that it will be realigning its Europe and Asia Pacific businesses under a single leader to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience. To lead this strategic business realignment, Geoff Purtill has been appointed Senior VP and General Manager, EMEA and Asia Pacific. “As we extend our leadership in the markets we serve, we must also make bold changes to reduce complexity and simplify and integrate how we operate in order to ensure we can quickly evolve with the marketplace,” commented Matt Monaghan, Chairman, President and CEO of Invacare. As part of the realignment, Ralf Ledda, Senior VP and General Manager, EMEA, will leave the company to pursue new opportunities.
