VDE - It's Been An Interesting Year Already - My Thoughts Going Forward
- We have already seen quite a bit of volatility in the early stages of 2022. The good news is, the market has bounced back quickly after hitting correction territory (S&P 500).
- Inflation remains top of mind, so I will explore a few ways investors can stay ahead of it.
- Fixed-income is probably going to have another difficult year. That said, value has opened up in the municipal space. After shedding some exposure last year, I am building those positions again.
- I will continue to hold the majority of my exposure in U.S. equities. That said, branching in to international options makes sense. Valuations are attractive on a relative basis on a number of fronts.
