  • Itron ( NASDAQ: ITRI ) on Tuesday announced it signed a contract with Gainesville Regional Utilities in Florida to modernize their infrastructure, improve data collection accuracy and operational efficiency with the company's industrial IoT network solution.
  • Shares of the company +5.3% in early trading session.
  • Among other things, Itron will provide its smart Gen5 500W water and Gen5 500G gas communication modules and Gen5 Riva Distributed Intelligence enabled electric smart meters.
