Jana Partners, the activist hedge fund run by billionaire Barry Rosenstein, exited its positions in Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings ( NYSE: LH ) and Leidos Holdings ( NYSE: LDOS ) during the third quarter, according to its latest 13F filing.
Meanwhile, the firm took a new position in Frontier Communications Parent ( NASDAQ: FYBR ), with 8.28M shares.
It increased its holdings in SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust ( NYSEARCA: SPY ) to 0.3M from 0.2M, Mercury Systems ( NASDAQ: MRCY ) to 4.7M from 4.4M, TreeHouse Foods ( NYSE: THS ) to 4.9M from 4.75M, and Fidelity National Information Services ( NYSE: FIS ) to 3.74M from 3.69M.
Among the reduced stakes include Freshpet ( NASDAQ: FRPT ), to 3.3M from 4.3M, and Enhabit ( NYSE: EHAB ), to 1.8M from 2.5M, the filing showed.
