JEQ - Japan's industrial output falls 0.9% in April more than preliminary data

- Industrial production in Japan dropped 0.9% month-over-month in April 2024, much worse than flash data of a 0.1% fall and after a 4.4% growth which was the steepest rise since June 2022.
- Yearly, industrial output dropped by 1.8% in April, the sixth straight month of contraction.
