SPMB - Jeffrey Gundlach's DoubleLine Capital launches two ETFs

Jeffrey Gundlach's DoubleLine Capital announced the launch of two new actively managed exchange traded funds focused on fixed income securities. The ETFs will target commercial real estate and the mortgage space.

DoubleLine Capital unveiled the DoubleLine Mortgage ETF ( DMBS ) and the DoubleLine Commercial Real Estate ETF ( DCMB ).

According to details released by the company, DMBS mainly invests in high quality residential mortgage-backed securities, actively allocating between government-backed agency mortgage-backed securities and non-agency mortgage-backed securities.

Meanwhile, DCMB aims to provide exposure to investment grade commercial mortgage-backed securities, while maintaining a low level of interest rate risk.

Both funds will trade on the New York Stock Exchange and DCMB comes with a 0.39% expense ratio while DMBS is attached with a 0.49% expense ratio.

As DCMB and DMBS come to market, they will find themselves competing for market share alongside other related real estate- and mortgage-focused ETFs. Here are some of the other major players in the space:
