JE - Just Energy issues going concern warning in wake of Texas freeze

Just Energy (JE) -26.3% pre-market after warning it could lose $250M from last week's extreme cold temperatures in Texas."The financial impact of the weather event on the company, once known, could be materially adverse to the company's liquidity and its ability to continue as a going concern," Just Energy says.The company also says it cannot finalize its unaudited interim financial statements for the three and nine months ended Dec. 31 until its review and understanding of the freeze's impact on its financial condition can be reasonably estimated.Atmos Energy said it will need to raise cash after committing to spend as much as $3.5B to secure fuel during last week's freeze.
