JE - Just Energy to seek relief from ERCOT settlements related to Texas storm

JustEnergy ([[JE]] +6.0%) pushes higher after filing a petition with the Texas Public Utility Commission seeking relief from ERCOT settlements related to the mid-February winter storm in Texas.The company asks ERCOT to suspend execution or issuance of invoices or settlements for intervals during Feb. 14-19 until related issues raised by Texas authorities are resolved, or to allow for delayed payment of certain invoices while it disputes invoiced payment amounts.Just Energy says it initiated the dispute process with ERCOT regarding certain invoices, including the application of the $9,000/MWh systemwide offer cap to any time period after the ERCOT grid ceased shedding load on Feb. 18.
