- KBR ( NYSE: KBR ) has won a significant contract worth up to $1.9 billion for the continued support of NASA's human spaceflight programs, including the International Space Station, Artemis and Low Earth Orbit Commercialization.
- The contract includes a base period of five years with two, two-year options, potentially extending nine years. Work will be carried out at several agency facilities, including JSC, Marshall Space Flight Centre, and Kennedy Space Centre.
- As per the terms of Integrated Mission Operations Contract III (IMOC III), KBR will provide mission planning, preparation, astronaut training, real-time flight execution, and future exploration vehicle design and development services for NASA's human spaceflight programs under Integrated Mission Operations Contract III. They will also aid in software development for the International Space Station Program Avionics and Software Office.
