KDP - Keurig Dr. Pepper says not currently pursuing purchase of Bang Energy

• Keurig Dr. Pepper ( NASDAQ: KDP ) said it's not currently pursuing a purchase of Bang Energy.
• Keurig ( KDP ) made the comments in a statement, according to traders, who cited a Bloomberg report.
• The news comes after Bloomberg on Thursday reported Keurig Dr. Pepper ( KDP ) was said in talks to acquire Bang Energy drinks from Vital Pharmaceuticals, also known as VPX.
• A potential Bang Energy deal comes after Bloomberg reported in November that Monster Beverage ( MNST ) was said to explore a deal with Constellation Brand ( STZ ). CNBC reported in late February that Monster's founders may be interested in a deal with Constellation Brands ( STZ).
