KGC - Kinross Gold rejects takeover approach from Endeavour Mining - Bloomberg

Kinross Gold ( NYSE: KGC ) rebuffed a takeover approach by Endeavour Mining ( OTCQX:EDVMF ) in recent months, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

Endeavour ( OTCQX:EDVMF ) reportedly was considering a potential cash and stock deal for Kinross ( KGC ), and held talks with potential partners about teaming up on a bid.

Discussions between Endeavour ( OTCQX:EDVMF ) and Kinross ( KGC ) did not advance beyond the initial stage due to differences over valuation and other issues, according to the report, which also said it is not clear whether the talks could revive at a later date.
