KGC - Kinross makes a C$4M investment in Allegiant Gold

Allegiant Gold (OTCQX:AUXXF +4.4%) announces a C$4.01M financing and strategic investment by Kinross Gold (KGC -3.9%) which will accelerate the exploration and development activities at the Eastside property in Nevada. On closing Kinross will own 9.9% of the then issued shares of Allegiant. Kinross has entered agreement with Kinross to acquire 10.04M units in a non-brokered private placement at C$0.40 per Unit with each Unit consisting of one common share of the company.
