MAC - Klarna teams up with another mall operator Macerich to offer BNPL options

Macerich (MAC -0.7%), owner of 45 regional shopping centers, names Klarna (KLAR) as the exclusive advertiser and promoter of "buy now, pay later" solutions across Macerich's portfolio. Through the partnership, Klarna (KLAR) will roll out in-store activations, out-of-home media campaigns, digital marketing, and amenities across all Macerich locations. The campaign is expected to increase the number of consumers using Klarna's (KLAR) product while bringing in new revenue streams for Macerich's (NYSE:MAC) retail tenants.
