• June Crude Oil WTI ( CL1:COM ) closed 7.7% lower to $105.76. Crude oil prices peaked to $120.93 and then fell 7% on June 17th as interest rate hikes from major central banks around the world sparked concerns about a sharp economic slowdown .
• Natural gas ( NG1:COM ) lost a third of its value ending June at $5.424. Freeport LNG was shuttered on June 8 due to an explosion, and the regulator's move points to further delays at the plant, which are expected to lead to lower prices since more of Freeport's fuel is now available for domestic consumption rather than for export to Europe.
