KHC - Kraft Heinz enters 12-year virtual power purchase pact with Repsol

The Kraft Heinz Company (NASDAQ:KHC) said on Tuesday that it entered in a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement with Spain-based Repsol, a multi-energy company. The company said the vPPA will generate enough renewable electricity to power ~25,000 average EU households per year at its peak. Kraft Heinz noted that the agreement advances Kraft Heinz toward global environmental stewardship goal of procuring majority of electricity from renewable energy sources by 2025.
