LH - Labcorp acquires RWJBarnabas Health's clinical outreach laboratory business

• Labcorp ( NYSE: LH ) said Tuesday it acquired RWJBarnabas Health's outreach laboratory unit and certain related assets.
• RWJBarnabas Health is New Jersey's largest academic health system.
• Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
• RWJBarnabas Health's physicians and patients will now be able to access an expanded test menu and LH's network of patient service centers.
• For patients served by a RWJBarnabas Health laboratory, LH will offer expanded health plan coverage, enhanced service to rural markets and potential for reduced out-of-pocket lab costs for patients.
