LH - Labcorp expands automated clinical trial kit production line at European operations center

• Laboratory Corporation of America ( NYSE: LH ), or Labcorp, on Monday said it would expand its automated clinical trial kit production line at its facility in Mechelen, Belgium.
• Once the expansion is completed, Labcorp will be able to fulfill clinical trial test kits for more than 70 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which would be significantly higher than the 27 countries in 2021.
• LH said that the facility in Mechelen - Labcorp Drug Development's European Operations Center - has produced more than 1.1M trial kits for clinical research across Europe since opening in March 2021.
• Labcorp ( LH ) stock earlier closed -1.5% at $240.88.
