IBB - Larimar Avadel Applied Therapeutics will added to Nasdaq Biotechnology Index

Larimar Therapeutics ([[LRMR]] -3.4%), Avadel Pharmaceuticals ([[AVDL]] +1.7%) and Applied Therapeutics ([[APLT]] +2.5%) have been selected to be included in the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index.The addition to the index will become effective prior to market open on Monday, December 21.In comparison to the gain in the iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology Index Fund ([[IBB]] -0.8%) past 1-year performance, which tracks the index, LRMR has garnered higher returns, while AVDL and APLT have under performed during the same period.
