Laureate Education (LAUR) received an all-cash offer for its Brazilian operations from Ânima Holding higher than its agreement with Ser Educacional.Ânima’s proposal is ~R$500M higher than what Ser agreed to pay considering Ser's closing share price on Oct. 20, 2020.Also, there is an additional earn-out of R$200M of purchase price that Laureate could receive based on certain metrics being achieved; Anima will pay the R$180M termination fee due to Ser.Laureate plans to terminate transaction agreement with Ser and ink a definitive binding agreement with Ânima.Shares -0.87% PM
