It has become exceedingly difficult to obtain income in the markets due largely to the policies of the Federal Reserve and other central banks.
LDP can get around this problem through the use of leverage and boasts a 6.5% yield.
The fund is very well diversified internationally, which could protect us from certain political risks.
The fund had some difficulty covering its distribution in early 2020, but it should be OK now that it it cut.
The fund is trading at a very slight premium to NAV and is trending down, so could be a decent buy.
