  • Agricultural products supplier Universal ( NYSE: UVV ) on Friday announced a $30M expansion project at its unit Shank's Extracts.
  • Shank's Extracts is a specialty ingredient, flavors and botanical extracts company based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
  • "As part of this multi-year project, Shank's Extracts will expand its facilities to support current and future growth needs for additional liquid and dry manufacturing, packaging, and refrigerated storage," UVV said in a statement .
  • The expansion project will also include installation of other "manufacturing capabilities."
