Liberty Energy ( LBRT ), is notable not just as a US onshore fracking and oilfield services company, but as the company in which the new US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright was formerly the CEO. Liberty is dragged down by rough sector fundamentals, particularly for oil drilling. Despite the uncertainty around the Israel-Iran (and Ukraine-Russia) conflicts, there's simply more oil supply than demand, and thus less appetite for drilling.
