LNW - Light & Wonder partners with Shift4 on cashless gaming

Light & Wonder ( NASDAQ: LNW ) announced an agreement on Wednesday for Shift4 Payments ( NYSE: FOUR ) to integrate their payment processing technology into the company's cashless table-top debit solution.

The AToM product from Light & Wonder ( LNW ) allows gaming players to access funds without leaving the table or handling cash. AToM is said to promote increased player retention and provides real-time accounting and game reports. To access funds, players simply swipe their debit card and enter their PIN.

"Integrating Shift4’s payment processing capabilities allows us to drive greater value and retention for our customers and a better experience for players," said Light & Wonder ( LNW ) exec Mike McKiski.

Shift4 Payments' ( FOUR ) support will initially include domestic jurisdictions and Canada, with other sites to be included in the future.

Shares of Light & Wonder ( LNW ) opened trading on Wednesday with a 2.82% gain. Shift4 Payments ( FOUR ) rose 2.37% .
