LILM - Lilium Collins Aerospace partner to develop inceptor system
- Lilium ( NASDAQ: LILM ) shares gained 4% premarket on Thursday after the eVTOL developer announced a collaboration with Collins Aerospace to build a new inceptor system.
- As part of the collaboration, Collins Aerospace will design, develop and build new flight controls for Lilium's ( LILM ) type-conforming aircraft.
- While integrating all conventional mechanical and electrical flight controls into two sidesticks, the Collins Aerospace system is said to bring a new piloting philosophy for single pilot operations in the eVTOL space. Compared to conventional sidesticks, the system will also be designed to bring significant space and weight savings.
