LLNW - Limelight Networks taps Peterschmidt as non-executive chairman

Limelight Networks (LLNW) has named David Peterschmidt the company's non-executive chairman. Walt Amaral, current chairman, will remain on the board. "This change is another important step that builds on the recent management changes to position the company for growth, profitability and building shareholder value," the company says. Peterschmidt has served on the board since 2007, and has nearly 20 years of experience as a technology CEO - including service at CIBER, Openwave Systems and Inktomi.
