LQDA - Liquidia jumps after judge issues order suggesting he may invalidate patent
- Liquidia Corp. ( NASDAQ: LQDA ) rose 8.6% after a judge issued an order suggesting that 793 patent should be considered invalid.
- The judge indicated that the Liquidia ( LQDA ) filed a notice with PTAB that invalidated all claims of the 793 patent.
- Recall LQDA surged 45% on July 19 after a court ruled in favor of the company in a patent dispute with United Therapeutics ( UTHR ).
- The U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled that 1–8 of the ’793 ( UTHR ) United Therapeutics patent have been shown to be unpatentable, according a filing at the time.
