LMFA - LM Funding America expands contract with Core Scientific for 900 more mining machines

- LM Funding America ( NASDAQ: LMFA ) on Wednesday said Core Scientific ( OTCPK:CORZQ ) would host an additional 900 bitcoin mining machines for the company under an expanded contract.
- The 900 machines are expected to be electrified and mining by the end of April.
- The expanded contract brings the total number of machines hosted by CORZQ to about 3.9K, LMFA CEO Bruce Rodgers said in a statement .
- Once the additional machines have been electrified, the total mining capacity provided from the machines hosted by CORZQ is expected to be about 400 petahash, Rodgers added.
- LM Funding America ( LMFA ) stock was up 2.6% to $0.89 after hours.
