LPX - Louisiana-Pacific: 'HOLD' Was The Right Choice Going Into 2025

I cover a number of companies and investments in the building materials sector - oftentimes, I've even had fairly extensive positions in the companies, from companies supplying things like Concrete, Aggregates, metals, but also companies providing wooden boards, OBS, and roofing, as well as sealant companies like Sika AG ( OTCPK:SXYAY ). My coverage of Louisiana Pacific has been less "positive" for the past year or so. In 2024, I covered the company with a "HOLD" rating, believing it to have significantly gone above where it should be trading at, despite fundamental improvements and an interesting housing market in the US....
