ARRPY - Lufthansa: My Lack Of Interest Was Justified

In early 2024, I wrote an article on German carrier Lufthansa ( DLAKY )(DLAKF) . I've traditionally been very, very reluctant to invest in airlines. I have no issues with aviation companies, or with manufacturers of planes, or with airport terminal managers, or companies. In fact, I invest in a lot of them - such as Aeroports de Paris ( ARRPY ), Airbus ( EADSY ), and others - but I avoid carriers for the same reason that Warren Buffett seems to avoid them with a strong conviction. Though it bears mentioning that Buffett actually invested in some major ones a few years ago, only to sell out once they had gone up a bit....
