DHR - Maravai LifeSciences gains amid report of takeover interest

• Maravai LifeSciences ( NASDAQ: MRVI ) rose 2.2% amid a report of takeover interest from a strategic buyer for the vaccine reagent vendor.
• An unidentified strategic buyer is said to be competing with private equity firm Thomas H. Lee for Maravai ( MRVI ), according to a Betaville "uncooked" alert, which cited people following the matter. There's speculation the bidder may be a large US-listed pharma firm.
• The report comes after Reuters said last month that Maravai ( MRVI ) r ejected the takeover interest from the Thomas H Lee. Betaville previously reported that Maravai ( MRVI ) had drawn takeover interest .
• Last month, Street Insider also reported that Thomas H. Lee bid $17 a share f or Maravai ( MRVI ). The PE firm made the all-cash offer and was conducting due diligence.
• Betaville previously reported that Danaher ( DHR ) and Catalent ( CTLT ) may have looked at Maravai ( MRVI ) in the past.
