XRMI - March Dividend ETF Report: High Yield ETFs Continue To Soar But Opportunities Are Dwindling

• This monthly article series provides an overview of 90+ dividend, income, and risk-management-focused ETFs, selected from my database of over 800 funds.
• For this report, I've added ten-year returns and risk-adjusted returns for investors with longer time horizons. Standard metrics remain including fees, AUM, dividend yield and growth, beta, concentration, and turnover.
• High dividend ETFs continued to outperform in March. My picks last month did well, but opportunities are dwindling. Those that combine low valuation with solid growth are set up best.
• The market continues to favor large-cap stocks since they are more profitable. Small-cap dividend ETFs were the fourth-worst-performing category out of 40 in March.
• Pay particular attention to your ETF's volatility and exposure to commodity-driven stocks. Avoid recency bias, and try to separate luck from sound portfolio management.
