MPX - Marine Products CEO Richard Hubbell named executive chairman

Marine Products (NYSE:MPX) said Tuesday Richard Hubbell, president and CEO, will transition to the role of executive chairman. CFO Ben Palmer has been promoted to president and CEO, and elected as a class I director. MPX appointed Michael Schmit as CFO and corporate secretary. Schmit joins MPX from SWM International, where he served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller. Gary Rollins will step down from his role of non-executive chairman, while continuing as a director.
