Marvel's (NYSE:DIS) "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" has topped the most anticipated movie of 2022, according to a newly published survey from Fandango. Fandango, the online ticket retailer, surveyed more than 6,000 ticket buyers in December and found that the sequel to the 2018 "Black Panther," which grossed more than $1.3 billion at the box office, was ahead of other highly anticipated movies, such as Marvel/Sony's (NYSE:SONY) animated "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - Part One -," Warner Bros. (NYSE:T) "The Batman" and Marvel's (DIS) "Thor: Love and Thunder." Coming in fifth place was Universal's (NASDAQ:CMCSA) "Jurassic World: Dominion," the sixth movie in the "Jurassic Park" franchise. It is also the third movie in the "Jurassic World" trilogy, with the two prior films grossing more than $3 billion at the box office.
