Introduction

I have been planning to devote an article to McDermott International (MDR) for some time. Other responsibilities in my consulting business delayed in carrying out this task. Fortunately, the market seems to be asleep on this one as well. You can see from the screen capture below, MDR is at a multi-year low over a period that includes the depths of 2015-2016.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good (an expression I seem to use fairly often)!
