MEGGF - Meggitt gains on takeover speculation

There was speculation earlier this year that Woodward (WWD) may be looking at that U.K.-based aerospace/defense outfit, though today the rumor is a PE firm, according to the U.K.'s The Times. Last April, Hexcel (HXL) and Woodward mutually agreed to terminate their merger deal, citing the increasing impact of the coronavirus on the aerospace and industrial sectors at the time. Woodward is scheduled to release fiscal Q3 results on Monday.
