- Mercer International ( NASDAQ: MERC ) said Monday its CFO David Ure will step down , effective June 1.
- Richard Short, the company's VP, controller, will succeed Ure as CFO and secretary.
- Ure will continue as an advisor until the end of August to ensure a smooth transition.
- Earlier, Mercer ( MERC ) posted mixed Q4 results .
