MESA - Mesa Air adds five additional aircrafts to American Airlines CPA

Mesa Air Group (MESA) amends its latest capacity purchase agreement with American Airlines (AAL) to add additional 5 CRJ-900 aircrafts by March, 2021. Under the new contract, the company initially finalized to operate 40 CRJ-900s for a five-year term through year-end 2025."We appreciate the opportunity to add this additional capacity at the request of American Airlines," says Mesa EVP and COO Brad Rich.The company says American retains the option to withdraw any of these incremental aircraft upon 60 days' prior notice.Stock up 0.97% AH.Previously (Dec. 21): Mesa Air reports November 2020 operating statistics
