METX - Meten Holding announces entry into share subscription agreements in connection with private placement of ordinary shares

• Meten Holding Group Ltd ( NASDAQ: METX ) on Monday said it has entered into subscription agreements with two foreign investors for the issue and sale of 4M ordinary shares, par value $0.003 per share, for total gross proceeds of $1M or $0.25 per share.
• The agreement will include an institutional investor Future Satoshi Ltd and an individual  investor.
• The company expects the transactions contemplated on or about August 16.
• Meten plans to use the proceeds to purchase additional mining machines to further increase the aggregate computing power of the company's cryptocurrency mining fleet.
• METX +2.56% premarket to $0.1959.
