Meanwhile, a host of companies released their quarterly results. Virgin Galactic (SPCE) took a dip in Tuesday's midday action, responding to news that its rival, Bezos' Blue Origin, had successfully launched its space tourism business. Turning to earnings news, Halliburton (HAL) and UBS (UBS) both posted gains following the release of their quarterly results. In other news, Lantern Pharma (LTRN) rose thanks to promising data for a cancer drug. PLx Pharma (PLXP) also posted a notable gain, with shares getting a boost on news that its product will be sold in Walgreens.
