Middlesex Water (MSEX) has jumped 8.9% postmarket following the word that it will join the S&P SmallCap 600 index. Middlesex is going into the index to replace Luminex (LMNX), which is set to be acquired by DiaSorin. The move is effective prior to the open of trading on Thursday, July 15.
