GNOG - Milwaukee Bucks co-owner predicts more states will allow sports gambling
simonkr/E+ via Getty Images Marc Lasry, co-founder and chief executive officer of Avenue Capital Group, as well as the co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA team, said Tuesday that he thinks the legalization of sports gambling will continue, with more states passing legislation to allow the activity. In an interview with CNBC, Lasry specifically predicted that Wisconsin - the home state of his Bucks - will eventually approve sports gambling. The hedge fund manager also said that he has sold his Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holdings and will now "wait and see" whether he takes a new position in the cryptocurrency. On legalized sports gambling in Wisconsin, Lasry said "that's where the consumer is going," though he noted that he wasn't personally pushing for the legislation.
