metamorworks/iStock via Getty Images Collaborative document startup Coda has raised $100M in a Series D round led by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan at a $1.4B valuation, more than doubling its valuation in a year. Coda says it will use the funding to "go all-in on all-in-one docs" by giving users more control over how to lay out content, offering a blend of structured and unstructured data, and continuing to build infrastructure for faster, improved app performance. Current coda clients include DoorDash, Spotify, and The New York Times. Coda competitors include Google Docs, Microsoft OneNote, Monday.com (MNDY), and Dropbox Paper (DBX).
