MRCC - Monroe Capital-backed technology SPAC MCAP prices $275M IPO

Monroe Capital's (MRCC) led special purpose acquisition company, MCAP Acquisition prices its initial public offering of 27.5M units at $10 per unit.The units will start trading today on Nasdaq under the symbol "MACQU".Each unit consists of a common share  and one-third of a redeemable warrant, exercisable as a whole at $11.50/share.Focused on software, technology-enabled businesses, MCAP Acquisition says initially it may pursue a combination target in any business, industry or sector.MCAP Acquisition is led by CEO and Chairman Theodore Koenig who is the CEO and Chairman of Monroe Capital Corporation.
