MEG - Montrose to acquire Horizon Water and Environment

Montrose Environmental Group (MEG +1.5%) has announced the acquisition of environmental consulting firm Horizon Water and Environment for an undisclosed amount. Oakland, California-based Horizon specializes in planning, watershed science, and environmental compliance for water and natural resource projects in the US state. Horizon's leadership team will join the Planning & Ecosystem Consulting segment under Montrose. The acquisition will expand Montrose's water resource knowledge and ecosystem offering in California. It marks Montrose's fourth acquisition in California in 2021.
