COOP - Mr. Cooper to use Google Cloud to step up digital mortgage servicing efforts

Mr. Cooper ([[COOP]] -3.0%) starts a new partnership with Google ([[GOOG]] -0.6%) Cloud to create a digital mortgage servicing platform that uses automation technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud scalability to make it easier to create, distribute, sign, submit, and review loan documentation.The collaboration will build on Mr. Cooper's previous investments in servicing technology and its core mortgage platform."Our highly scalable, digital platforms have already enabled us to become the nation’s largest non-bank mortgage servicer, with industry leading efficiency," said Mr. Cooper Chairman and CEO Jay Bray.
