MTSC - MTS Systems trades high on $17M contracts

MTS Systems (MTSC) +1.85% AH, received two new awards for its test and simulation business worth $17M in contractual value.It will partner with a multi-national engineering and manufacturing conglomerate to provide a fault ride through tester for its offshore wind business which will help maintain power generation stability of today's large offshore wind turbines.MTS also partnered with commercial vehicle manufacturer to design a unique simulator for helping its partner facilitate product design innovations aimed at reducing emissions for its heavy commercial vehicles."Our wind testing business continues to see growing momentum as governments stimulate their economies with infrastructure spending," interim president & CEO Randy J.
