As I recently discussed , I love investing in high-yield infrastructure stocks ( UTF ). There are several reasons for this. First, infrastructure is benefiting from several macro tailwinds, including the AI boom, the need to modernize infrastructure in developed economies and build it in developing economies, and the growing demand for inflation-resistant and stable cash flowing assets to support the income needs of the growing number of retirees. Second, high-yield infrastructure stocks tend to be among the most dependable income machines given that the dividends are often supported by cash flows that are either highly contracted or regulated, making them very defensive in nature. Finally, infrastructure tends to be inflation resistant due to the real asset and critical nature of most quality infrastructure businesses as well as the fact that most infrastructure assets have inflation indexation and/or protections built into their contracts....
